The project that aims to promote local initiatives of sustainable use of natural resources among local communities of Lioma location of Lioma administrative post of Gurué district in Zambézia province; control of bush clearing, soil erosion, illegal offtake of wild animals, destruction of water springs and inadequate farming will be reverted through promotion of sustainable farming, use of solar panels, use of improved saving stoves, improvement of soil fertility, increase of environmental awareness and establishment of community natural resources management committees for increase of environmental awareness.
