GOAL
In 2016, Darawa Village Will Become Self Sufficient in Fishery.

OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : The development of effective natural resources monitoring system and the restoration of mangrove forest in Darawa Village.
Indicators :
1. The formation of natural resources monitoring institution in Darawa Village which consists of 20 people who become the trained watchdogs. These resources watchdogs are members of Forkani who are included in Dewara group.
2. A memorandum of understanding between the village government and the community of Darawa village related to mangrove conservation area in Darawa village.
3. One equipment package for natural resources watchdogs such as bodysuit, binocular, a live jacket, and a camera.
4. A unit of mangrove nursery
5. The planting of 10.000 mangrove trees di Darawa Village with an area of 2 Ha
6. There are 100 people who are involved in the seeding, planting, and care of mangrove trees in Darawa Village
7. The availabiltiy of one unit food processor to make mangrove based food.
Activities :
1. Village meeting on the formation of natural resources monitoring institution of Darawa Village.
This activity is done to form a natural resources monitoring institution so that this institution can ensure the sustainabiliy of natural resources in Darawa Village. The village meeting to form a monitoring institution is done by inviting the people of the village to meet and have consensus at the Office of Darawa Village which will be held in the first month of the program. This meeting is held by the Darawa Village government, a technical facilitator, local facilitator and 50 people of Darawa Village.
2. FGD at the village level related to conservation of mangrove area in Darawa village
This FGD is carried out to make the draft agreement on the management of mangrove areas in Darawa Village in the second month of the ongoing program, by inviting people of the village to discuss at the the Office of Darawa Village. The activity will be conducted by the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village
3. Training on Natural Resources Monitoring of Darawa Village
Natural resource monitoring training activity is done to prepare trained natural resources watchdogs. In this training, the program executive works together with the Village Government to provide training which is held at the secretariat of Dewara group in the third month of the ongoing program by involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people who are experts in their fields, as well as 20 people from Darawa Village.
4. Procurement of Monitoring Facilities
The procurement of facilities which support monitoring of natural resources in Darawa village is done through renting the facilities in the fourth month of ongoing program. The activity will be done by the program implementer, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village
5. The construction of one unit of nursery
The construction of nursery is done to provide a place to grow seedlings and store the mangrove seedlings so they can grow well. The activity is done by the program implementer in cooperation with the people of Darawa Village. The nursery will be built in the fifth month of the ongoing program, by involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village.
6. Procurement of 10,000 mangrove seedlings
The activity is to prepare ready-planted seedlings in an area of 2 hectare in Darawa Village. The activity is carried out by program implementer in cooperation with the people of Darawa Village to make a nursery in the sixth and seventh month of the program. The Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator are also involved.
7. Planting of 10,000 mangrove trees
The planting of mangrove trees is intended to restore or replant the mangrove areas that have been degraded in Darawa Village. The activity is carried out by the program implementor in cooperation with the people of Darawa Village to plant mangrove trees in the eighth month of the ongoing program by involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village.
8. Mangrove Care
This activity is carried out so that the planted mangrove treeas can grow well. The activity is done by the program implementor in cooperation with the people of Darawa Village to make a nursery in the sixth and night month of the ongoing program. It will be involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village
9. Training on the processing of mangrove-based food
The training is intended to improve the knowledge of the people in the processing of food made from mangrove which can improve the economy of the people in Darawa Village. The activity is done by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government to provide training on processing mangrove-based food in the tenth month of the program. People of Darawa Village and the individuals who are experts in their fields the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator are involved to carry out the activities in the tenth month of the ongoing program.
10. Procurement of 1 unit of food processor machine to make mangrove based food
This activity is done so that the people of Darawa Village can produce food from mangrove. The activity is done by the program executive in cooperation with the village government to provide training on the processing of food made from mangrove in the eleventh month of the program. The activity is done by the program implementer in cooperation with people of Darawa Village in the eleventh month of the program involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village.

Objective 2 : Procurement of Alternative Energy.
Indicators :
1. One training on the construction of energy efficient stove.
2. At the end of the program there will be 100 energy efficient stoves.
Activities :
1. Training on the construction of energy efficient stove
This activity is carried out so that the people of Darawa Village are able to build an energy efficient stove. The activity is done by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government to provide training on energy efficient stoves together with people of Darawa Village (20 participants) and individuals who are experts in their fields in the twelfth month.
2. Procurement of 100 energy efficient stoves
This activity is carried out so that the people of Darawa Village use energy efficient stoves which will save the use of firewood from mangrove. The activity is carried out by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government to provide energy efficient stoves in the tenth month of the program. The people of Darawa Village and individuals who are experts in their fields, the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator are involved in this activity in the twelfth month of the ongoing program.

Objective 3 : The use of eco-friendly fishing equipment and improvement of livelihood in the facilitated groups.
Indicators :
1. Availability of 50 units of eco-friendly fishing equipments
2. One training of post-harvest of seaweed treatment.
3. One unit of seaweed drier machine.
4. One unit of financial institution to manage group business.
5. Revolving fund in the community level.
Activities :
1. Procurement of 50 units of eco-friendly fishing nets (gill nets with mesh size of 2,5 inch)
The activity is done so that people have eco-friendly fishing nets, catching only adult fish. The activity is carried out by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government to provide eco-friendly fishing nets in the second month of second year of the ongoing program. The people of Darawa Village and individuals who are experts in their fields, the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator are involved in this activity.
2. Training of post-harvest seaweed treatment.
The activity is done to improve the quality of seaweed production. The activity is carried out by the program executive in cooperation with the village government to provide training. People of Darawa Village and individuals who are experts in their fields, the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator are involved in this activity in the third month of the second year of the ongoing program.
3. Procurement of 1 unit seaweed drying machine
This activity is carried out so that seaweed production by the people of Darawa Village will be managed better, and the economic income will also improve because during the rainy season the harvested seaweed cannot be dried well by the people. Therefore, the selling price of the seaweed becomes low. Procurement of drying machine is carried out by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government in the fourth month of the second year of the program in Darawa Village by involving technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village.
4. The establishment of a financial institution to manage the group business
This activity is carried out to establish a financial institution which manages group business, by inviting the people of the village to discuss in the fifth month of the second year of the ongoing program at the Darawa Village Office. Those who are involved in the activity are Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village
5. Procurement of revolving fund.
This activity is carried out so that people of Darawa Village will have access to capital to improve their economic income. The activity will be carried out by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government in the sixth month of the second year of the ongoing program in Darawa village by involving technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village.

Objective 4 : Monitoring, Evaluation, Dissemination, Documentation dan Reporting.
Indicators :
1. Monitoring is carried out twice within one month for 15 months
2. One evaluation workshop
3. The distribution of 500 leaflets
4. One documentation package of program activity.
5. One package of activity reporting.
Activities :
1. Monitoring
This activity is carried out to monitor ongoing program as evaluation material. The activity will be done by party who manage the program in cooperation with 2 monitoring officers, the village government and the people of Darawa Village, from the first month to the fifteenth month of the program in Darawa Village by involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village.
2. Evaluation Workshop
The activity is carried out to discuss the program and the problems that occur so they can be followed up. The activity will be done by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government and 50people of Darawa Village in the seventh month of the program in Darawa village by also involving technical facilitator and local facilitator.
3. Evaluation Report
This activity is carried out to report the data from the evaluation workshop that has been done and the follow up activity to be done. The activity will be done by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government and the people of Darawa Village in the seventh month and fourteenth month of the program in Darawa village by involving technical facilitator, and local facilitator.
4. Dissemination
This activity is carried out so that the information and agreement made by the people of Darawa Village together with the Village Government can be known by the people outside Darawa Village. The activity will be done by the program implementer in cooperation with the village government and the people of Darawa Village in the eleventh month of the program in Darawa village by involving technical facilitator and local facilitator.
5. Documentation
This activity is carried out to document all of the program activitites in form of pictures. The activity will be done by the program implementer in cooperation with the people of Darawa Village from the first month to the fifteenth month of the program in Darawa village by involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, and local facilitator.
6. Reporting
This activity is carried out so that the program implementer report the output of the activities implemented in the program. The activity will be done by the program implementer in the fourteenth month of the program in Darawa village by involving the Village Government, technical facilitator, local facilitator and the people of Darawa Village.
