- Lined 5000 meters of irrigation canals, resulted in preserving more than 65 carats of agricultural land, which were degraded & conserved nearly 2000 cubic meters of irrigation water.
- Raised the awareness of 500 small farmers on the importance of lining canals & environmental and economic impacts.
- Organized exchange visits to other NGOs & farmers to disseminate lessons learned.
- Conducted 4 seminars for 200 farmers to highlight project?s objectives & expected results, concerning water conservation, community participation and role of CS.
- Established partnerships between local community, who fulfill their cash contribution, and local authorities who provide technical assistance.
- Produced awareness raising materials.
