PROMOTING BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION IN AND ARROUND GREBO NATIONAL FOREST
project will be implemented by MAP trained agriculturists along with the citizens? representatives from all communities targeted for the project. Twenty eight (28) communities within the immediate vicinity of the Park are targeted for the project. These communities are divided into eleven (11) zones or meetings (workshop) centers where people will be gathered for discussions. However, all twenty (28) communities will be reached during sensitization and awareness education. Most of the project activities will include community participation, co- management team set up and play monitoring role, and gender mainstreaming. Also, intermittent evaluation of the project progress will be carried out.

Notable Community Participation
An in-depth consultation has already taken place, with discussions beginning in 2012 with community and stakeholders representative. This proposal has evolved as a direct result of that consultation process and a pre-project development visit which was undertaken from September by the project team .
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Knowledge transfer and capacity building based on personal involvement of local people are at the heart of this project and hence dissemination is an integral aspect of what is planned.
