Ecological education of youth as a method to combat climate change
The project is aimed to increase environmental education and ecological awareness on climate change issues among schoolchildren and to develop youth ecological network and partnerships among educational institutions of Rivne, Zhytomyr, Lugansk and Chernigiv regions.
Specific project objectives are to conduct a demonstration project on energy efficiency: insulation of Sarny gymnasium premises and installation energy saving lamps; improve ecological culture and education of youth on climate change challanges; develop youth ecological network, expanding partnerships and knowledge sharing between educational institutions of Rivne, Lugansk, Zhytomyr and Chernigiv regions.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Raising public awareness is a major part of the project. This will be achieved by organization and conduction of children ecological camp, film developed and broadcast by local TV, training and dissemination materials developed, web site updating.
