Notable Community Participation
10 rural youth volunteers will be trained to undertake elementary field investigation, evaluate/ prepare small schemes and acquire basic skills in water, terrain, solar energy management and applications.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Exposure visits one per sub theme (grasses, horticulture, herbal/medical plants, vertical shaft brick kiln, goat rearing) will be organized. The project will expose the community to new agro-skills and knowledge. Village meetings will be conducted by the committees in order to make decisions related to delegation of works, cost sharing, roles and responsibilities. Drills will be rehearsed at the village levels. Basic knowledge regarding construction techniques, planting saplings, recording varieties will be provided.
