Policy Impact
Effective collaboration between community and government departments such as Forest department, Panchayat Raj and horticulture department in 21 core villages and 225 small villages and benefit to 24000 hector of Betta Land. Influence government and policy makers to work with Betta land protection in Siddapur Taluq through media and direct approach. Under the circumstances the technology will be accepted and may form a part of the State Government policies. The technology will also refuse confidence in the minds of the local officials.
Significant Participation of Indigenous Peoples
Knowledge of indigenous people of Betta Land will be enriched to create micro climatic condition to develop evergreen species.
