Solar energy as a method to reduce energy consumption and promote use of alternative energy recourses
The project is aimed to combat climate change, reduce GHG emissions and demonstrate the use of renewable solar energy technologies for water heating in public building in Komyshne village of Lugansk region. The main practical achievement of the project will be an installation of energy-efficient solar collector for water heating in local orphanage to reduce GHG emissions.

Capacity - Building Component
Raising public awareness, capacity building and improving the environmental literacy of Komyshne community are the important parts of the project.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
The project is going to involve local community into the project activities by conducting environmental seminars, roundtable discussions, etc. Raising awareness campaign also includes dissemination of brochures and video on use of renewable solar energy technologies.
