Project Characteristics and Results
Notable Community Participation
ARDO will continue to work with the stakeholders though there will be room for others to actively participate. We will also work with the cross section of the community including Women Youth Religious Chiefs and Elders, Land Owners and herbalist. Others include Fire Volunteers Ghana Tourism Authourity and Forestry Division of Forestry Commission. Even at the design stage of this proposal they were consulted and also made inputs. It is believe that with the wild consultation carried out, the community will cooperate and participate not only for its successful implementation but also its sustainability. Volunteers from the communities will be trained in sites development and management. ARDO will also facilitate and sensitize the communities on the benefits derived from sacred sites both tangible and intangible.
