1st Quarter

1. All resources needed to start the project have been acquired.

2.3 stakeholder meetings were held with 75 males and 24 women participating.

3.Six (6) community sensitization meetings were organized. In all 482 women and 390 men participated.

4. 42 volunteers were trained in nursery management. They are made up of 13 Women and 29 Men.

5.Two tree nurseries were raised in the two communities

6.All tools, equipment and seeds necessary for nursery establishment were acquired.

7.25 households were identified and train as beneficiaries

8. MoA has been developed and validated but yet to be signed as key stakeholders were not available to do that.

9.The project is now a household name. Two (2) sign post were made to advertise it.

10.80 hectares lands has been ear marked for integrated agriculture. Mapping experts have been contacted but yet to visit site.

2nd Quarter

1.Two-day bee keeping training workshop organized and 80 bee hives are being supplied to two groups (40 each)

2. Two training workshops were organized. Each training was followed by on farm and demonstration on the importance of lining and pegging and was well attended by all project beneficiaries.

3. 8, 000 cocoa, 50,000 grains of paradise, 600 black-pepper and 1800 ofram seedlings distributed to farmers

4.100 T-shirts printed and distributed to key stakeholders eg chiefs & elders, queen-mother & her council, opinion leaders, and project participants.

5.5000 seedlings procured and made available to farmers to supplement their poorly germinated ones

6.A memorandum of Agreement have been signed between each of the groups and ARDO and witnessed by chiefs of the various communities.
