UNDP/GEF Small Grants Programme Best Practice and Knowledge Fair
The goal of the project is to enable SGP grantees and other NGO stakeholders to network, share and showcase best practices, innovative technologies and lessons learned developed by the civil society to promote the replication and scaling up of results for greater policy influence and transformational change; as well as to promote sustainability and the mobilization of additional resources for community-based sustainable development initiatives.
Country specific goals and outcomes for SGP Slovakia:

1. Mainstream experience of SGP and other relevant NGO work in preparation of strategic documents for EU programming for 2014-2020, focusing mainly on promotion of Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) and global grants for NGOs as tools of effective regional development;
2. Support the networking and effective dialogue of communities and CSOs with the regional self-administration in Kosice and Presov regions in Eastern Slovakia on regional development planning and policy making at the regional level;
3. Show, exhibit, and share successful practices and innovations from projects issues in order to raise awareness and facilitate replication and scaling up;
4. Support the controlled closure of SGP Slovakia.
