Introduction of energy saving technologies street lighting to improve the quality of life of Gizhenka rural community Slavgorod district
The project goal: Improving lighting of s. Gizhenka by replacing mercury lamps to LED lighting.
Project tasks:
1. Purchase and installation of LED lighting, solar cells and other equipment for street lighting control in the s. Gizhenka;
2. Carrying out of information dissemination on experience of introduction LED lighting in villages.
Expected results
1. CO2 emission reduced by to 2 tons due to replacement of mercury lamps to LED ;
2. Condition s. Gizhenka become more attractive to the people;
3. 38 bulbs were replaced LED lights;
4. 300 village inhabitants got acquainted with the importance of replacing mercury lamps to LED to reduce the impact on climate change, as well as the possibility of the use of LED and energy-saving lamps in the domestic environment ;
5. Village council budget savings on street lighting ware expected to be up to 3 500 USD from the operation of LED lamps at constant prices of 2013. This means 50% from total 2013 budget of s. Gizhenka.
6. Ennobled recreational playground in the village Gizhenka ;
7. Published and disseminated:
a. 300 booklets on energy efficiency and the results of the replacement of street lighting to LED ;
b. 100 notebooks with information on energy efficiency ;
c. 100 leaflets on energy efficiency in the home.
