The project goals:
1) Reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere through the use of alternative energy sources;
2) Improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in Stolin district by saving money on heating and electric lighting.
Project Tasks:
1. Installation of solar power unit and collector system on the roof of information and training center for alternative water heating and energy supply;
2. Conducting exterior insulation of information and training center building;
3. Development of information and training center as a demonstration site of high efficiency and alternative energy using renewable sources of energy;
4. Multiplication experience NGO ?Center support for young people with disabilities? on the use of renewable energy sources in the Brest region
Expected results
1. On the roof of information and training center for disables the solar power unit (15-20 m2) is installed and generates electricity for the needs of center.
2. Solar collector for heating and hot water supply is Installed on the roof of information and training center.
3. Held outside insulation information and training center for more than 200 sq.m. as well as a set of energy-saving lamps 35.
4. Installation of solar power unit and collector for heating water will reduce by more than 85% of the energy, which is at least 3.1 tons/year CO2 emissions reduction.
5. Annual financial savings will amount at least $ 1,650 dollars.
6. A booklet on the use of renewable energy sources in the information and training center.
7. At least 15 social, educational, religious and social organizations as well as government agencies and other interested are get acquainted with experience of NGO ?Center support for young people with disabilities? on the rational use of energy resources and the use of alternative and renewable energy sources through a workshop, booklet, media.
