Centre for Environmental Law & Community Rights Inc. The Port Moresby based national CSO has been approved a planning grant of US$5,000 under STAR allocation under OP5. Being mandated by UNOPS to approve planning grants, the National Coordinator gave approval for the grant to be used to develop full proposal to undertake a project to promote Biodiversity Conservation and defending community rights through advocacy, lobby, litigation and legal awareness in Papua New Guinea?. The project aims at bringing awareness and makes informed decisions about land-use and promotes adaptation initiative to prevent the communities from severely impacted by changing climate.
