Sustainable preservation and use of resources in Garça de Cima, Santo Antão
This project aims to contribute towards the loss of key biodiversity on the Cova, Paúl and Torre boundary areas, mainly in Garça de Cima, Santo Antão Island. Conservation of endemic species in areas of the park will be widely promoted and implemented. Water conservation initiatives will be executed as well, specifically with the construction of 50m3 water tank and sensitizing of 25 beneficiary farmers. An area of at least 4.000 m2 of park land will be extensively covered with endemic plants.
