Establishment of Youth Center of Green Tourism in Sarny
The main objective of the project is to establish a Youth Center of Green Tourism in Sarny, Rivne region and improve environmental literacy of schoolchildren. The project is aimed to develop green tourism in Sarny through establishment of two eco-routes near and in the town; improve environmental literacy by establishing Youth Center of Green Tourism in Sarny Secondary School #2; conduct public awareness campaign on the benefits of eco-tourism. The following activities are foreseen within the project: Development of maps for 2 eco- routes; Production and installation of tables and benches; Production and installation of stands with maps and routes passports; Purchase of bicycles for Youth Center of Green Tourism; Purchase of sports and tourist equipment for Youth Center of Green Tourism; Design and publication of brochures; Testing of green routes by schoolchildren; Information dissemination in the media and on television.

Notable Community Participation
Community of Sarny, including children, youth, parents and teachers initiated the project and took an active part in the development of project proposal. This target audience will be directly involved in project implementation. These are partnership agreements, letters of support and letters of intent to co-finance.
