Sharing Common Benefits and Community Based Solution to Enhance local community livelihood
The grazing areas in the Halabat area are considered as a good source for livestock and herds of cattle. However, the decline in vegetation and the loss of valuable grazing plants led to the degradation and low production.

therefor, the project is implemented in the Halabat area near the halabat Palace. With the technical assistance of IUCN, the CBO will Activate the role of community management of natural resources and that will be achieved through training local community members about the best practices for the ecosystem and the plant cover conservation, get rid of harmful plants and train them along with staff members from the tourism department on the management of land resources and the effects of land degradation and finally how to rehabilitate land and plants. Also during the project implementation small projects will be funded for the community members.
