Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Friends? Association of Vashlovani Protected Areas will assist the population, who have been involved in the project, to sell the pheasants, and to develop an enterprise for making souvenirs and ornaments from colored feathers of Colchis pheasants, which will become an important source of revenue for them in the future.
Gender Focus
If we consider that mostly the women will be engaged in taking care of pheasant flappers, and the schoolchildren and other boys and girls will equally participate in awareness activities. It is possible to say that this issue is addressed during the project implementation
