Preservation and Utilization Tengkawang to improve household incomes and protection of forest areas and around the National Park Lake Sentarum
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Saving forest area through Tengkawang utilization and develompent
Indicators : 1. The Existence House of Seed as Seed bank before Planting
2. The existence of Tengkawang trees planting as much as 1000 stems in Keluin Village, Batang Lupar regency
Activities : 1. Building The house of seed
2. Training about Tengkawang oil extraction process
Objective 2 : Increase the economic value of the oil producing The tengkawang tree by using simple technology appropriate
Indikator : 1. Availability of data and information on the potential amount of fruit and trees in the District of Batang Lupar tengkawang and Badau with The module or a simple book about tengkawang
2. Reports of training activities tengkawang oil extraction, which was attended by participants from two districts in the area around Lake National Park Sentarum

5. People are realizing the importance of tengkawang for forest protection and land
6. Interested communities to plant more trees tengkawang
PROJECT PARTICIPANTS AND/OR BENEFICIARIES
Direct : ? 80 people (with a composition of 60 men and 40 women). participants from two districts Badau Batang Lupar and around the national park area of Lake Sentarum.
? 6 villages get tengkawang oil extraction tools support of this project.
? Yayasan Riak Bumi gain more knowledge from sharing knowledge with the community about tengkawang and oil
Indirect : ? 9944 people (with komposis 5236 men and 4708 women) in the National Park area of Lake Sentarum which depends on the condition of the water supplied from the northern part of the region.
? The National Park Authority Lake Sentarum get help for the protection of the National Park conservation area in Lake Sentarum
