The development of Renewable Energy Model Applied to Support Sustainable Forest Management by the Community and Economic Improvement Community
GOAL
Increasing communities capacity building in development in renewable energy applied to support sustainable forest management efforts and economic develompent of local communities
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Development renewable energy throuh Microhydro (PLMTH)
Indicators : 1. Establishment of Management Board and Supervisory Board MHP.
2. Design documentation and Budget Plan MHP.
3. Development of a micro-hydro power (MHP) is continuous.
4. Local communities to participate actively in the process of transfer of technology and information in the development and management of MHP
5. Local communities get electricity sources to support information access and increase domestic productive economy
Activities : 1. Survey design and draft budget; activity is intended to obtain the technical data and the local unit price in order to prepare the design and development of MHP Budget Plan right.
3. Dam / intake;
4. Soothing Bath creation:
5. Rapid installation of pipe;
6. Manufacturing plant house;
7. Installation of turbines and generators;
8. Installation of electricity transmission; activity is intended for electricity produced by the generator will be streamed through power transmission lines using standard electrical wiring PLN.
9. Wasters channel; This activity is intended for water that has been turning turbine will be channeled back into the river through the discharge channel, so water is not wasted.
10. Home lighting electrical installation; This activity is intended for installing electricity in homes for lighting.
Objective 2 : strengthening the capacity of Management Board and Supervisory Board MHP
Indicators : 1. MHP can run your body and understand terms of reference
2. Management Agency has local budget/ bylaws
3. Management Agency has a legal entity (BUMDesa / Cooperative)
Activities : 1. Training managing micro hydro on community based
2. Training managing supervision micro hydro on community based
3. Workshop Forming Local budget/bylaws
4. Workshop institution managing Mycro hydro
Objective 3 : strengthening the capacity of managing forestry on Community
Indicators : 1. Availability of maps and plans of forest management by local communities
2. The establishment of a housing unit of forest seedlings with size 6 x 8.5 m, with a specification ground floor, timber frame, roof and walls covered paranet. Home made seed in village lands.
3. Terkoleksinya community forest seedlings, especially productive forest crops (fruit) such as durian, jengkol and tengkawang (shorea sp.). Tengkawang is endemic tree whose fruit has economic value that can be processed into cocoa butter as a substitute material (green butter).
4. Implementation of forest planting seedlings on degraded forest areas.
Activities : 1. Mapping and forest management planning; This activity is intended to make sure the location of the forest will be managed and a buffer zone of water based on the existing spatial data
2. Home construction seeds; activity is intended to provide the location of the maintenance of forest seedlings before planting in the field
3. Collection and maintenance of seed; activity is intended to collect and preserve seeds of forest plants from the forest around
4. Planting seeds and plant maintenance; This activity is intended for the establishment and maintenance of forest seedlings that have been planted in the field
Objective 4 : Increasing Capacity and economic community beneficiaries
Indicators : 1. Reduced monthly expense family expenditure for electricity previously used for the purchase of diesel fuel, oil and engine generator spare parts.
2. Implementation of productive economic activities at night
3. Implementation of community empowerment training to create a livelihood
Activities : 1. Bamboo craftsmen could do activities at night
2. Bamboo craftsmen training group;
3. Training to make various snacks cakes; activity is intended to expand the knowledge and business opportunities for women.
4. Training freshwater fish culture techniques; activity is intended to expand the knowledge and business opportunities for men.
Objective 5 : Monitoring and Evaluation Activities
Indicators : 1.Renewable Energy Development Activity Model Applied to Support Sustainable Forest Management by the Community and Economic Improvement Community can be implemented and controlled in accordance with a specified schedule.
2. Monitoring carried out at least 4 sessions during the duration of the program
3. Evaluation of minimal 4 sessions held during the duration of the program
4. Periodic reports on the activities of the program
Activities : 1. Monitoring and evaluation of the program conducted periodically by involving all relevant elements
2. Monitoring program includes monitoring kuantititas conducted a thorough, quality, time, financial and administrative requirements
3. Program evaluations are conducted regularly to control program to be implemented and controlled according to plan.
4. Preparation of reports on the results of monitoring and periodic program evaluations submitted to donor agencies (GEF-SGP) with copies village government / local government.
EXPECTED OUTPUT
1. Forests around the village could managed sustainably and support the provision of clean water, fresh air, energy and other forest products utilization and sustainable economic
2. Potential water resources that exist around the local forests could be managed into electrical energy for the local community on an ongoing basis
3. Community-managed renewable energy could support economic development and productivity of the local community
