SWAMPREHABILATATION ROOTAND TUBERAND VEGETABLE FARMING
The project is a community development project and shall be situated in two townships with site being selected by the women, youth and project implementation team. The project will be supervised by project staffs and selected representatives of the towns and villages alongside the implementing organization.
The project will be developmental and training in nature and will place greater emphasis on production output through demonstration, testing and evaluation of trainees, individual members exhibition of skills acquired and follow up activities of trainees by implementing agency and donor representatives.
Each participant shall be required to perform a special task in a day after the first one month of exposure to the training. Any participant found lacking behind shall be warned through a separate study period and if fail to perform to the training expectation set forth, shall be replaced by a desirous war affected women/person in order to avoid wastage of time, money and efforts of the implementing agency and the donors.
The project will last for eight months in order to provide full skill training to the participants in management and production of vegetable, root and tuber integrated Pest Management and swamp rice aimed at fully equipping the communities of the project localities with well trained and professional manpower for onward skills transfer to the future generation of the inhabitants of the selected program communities.

Notable Community Participation
An in-depth consultation has already taken place, with discussions beginning in 2012 with community and stakeholders representative. This proposal has evolved as a direct result of that consultation process and a pre-project development visit which was undertaken from September by the project team .
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Knowledge transfer and capacity building based on personal involvement of local people are at the heart of this project and hence dissemination is an integral aspect of what is planned.
