On the island of St. Nicholas there are quite a few CBOs, most of which located in rural communities. Over the years, we have notice a strong commitment and engagement in natural resource conservation. However, there are still capacities gaps to be field in various domains, such as identification and preparation of projects, monitoring and evaluation and project execution.
To address such shortcoming ORAC will implement a series of workshops to enhance capacities of at least 120 CBOs in project management, execution and monitoring evaluation. In cooperation with GEF SGP, a workshop on GEF SGP M&E mechanism will take place, as well as GEF Focal Areas information.
