Biodiversity Workshop: Looking Back, Charting the Future
Biodiversity Workshop: Looking Back, Charting the Future
With the end of the OP4 of SGP, there is a need to look back at the experiences of project implementers, share and consolidate project results, best practices and lessons learned. Challenges also need to be identified and recommendations discussed to chart appropriate next steps for enhancing biodiversity conservation efforts in the identified priority sites.

This project is in line with the SGP4 focal areas to demonstrate local and global benefits of the Programme and application of lessons learned and best practices, and to enhance the sustainability of SGP-funded projects. Its proceedings may also be used to educate people and raise public awareness about the importance of biological diversity and the need to conserve it.

Under this project, Tanggol Kalikasan will bring together project implementers of SGP4?s Country Programme to share project accomplishments and best practices, cull lessons learned, identify problem areas, and offer recommendations in terms of operations, management, funding allocation, monitoring and evaluation and programme oversight.
