Project implementation raised huge interest in local population; as the region is rural and very adjascent, people didn't express their interest from the beginning of the project, but some months later they sow first real results and the project become very popular in the Oni Municipality; ordinary popupation, as they were neighbors of selected family households, organized themselves some collection of funds and purchased the same solar energy collection systems for reducing expences of poerw supply, wood consumption and other related expences, which gave them significant savings of family finances.

Target communities of both genders have equal opportunities to participate in the project, as well as an almost equal number of men and women (26/26) have equal access to the benefits of the project to make life easier.

The project has strong soil to be sustainable and replicable; established resource centers will be as focal points for the population to collect needed information on energy efficiency issues and contact respective people and organizations dealing with energy and environment.

Transfer of energy efficient technologies and related services for a total amount of 35,845 U.S. dollars to three boundary, targeted and vulnerable communities of the Upper Racha - to three families in Ghebi, to three families in Glola, and to two families in Chiora, total to 8 families (up to 32 members) of the target communities, and to three youth eco - clubs with a total of up to 20 members of all projected clubs (total up to 52 members of the target communities): a. In each selected family: insulation of 35 square meters of living space through the use of thermal insulation materials, and installation of energy-efficient windows and doors; redecorating the living space, and the installation of the following devices: a wood-burning stove with low power consumption, a solar system of water heater, and two energy-saving lamps; b. Creation of one eco-club in each of the three target communities which includes the following: insulation of 35 square meters of work space by using of insulation materials and installation of energy-efficient windows and doors, minor cosmetic repair, a wood-burning stove with low power consumption, a solar system of water heater, and two energy-saving lamps; c. elaboration and development of the financial mechanism to the completion of the project to reduce the cost of at least two energy-efficient technologies (e.g. insulation and solar water heater system) that will promote the use of energy efficient technologies in vulnerable families

elaboration and development of of at least one special financial mechanism taking into account the economic condition of the population of vulnerable communities and offer its stakeholders to promote the use of energy efficient technologies in vulnerable families

participate in a survey of 800 representatives of the three target communities, officials of the municipality and their periodic informing on environmental issues, social needs and the effective implementation of the project; B) the ability of all members of the three target communities to express their comments and recommendations on the implementation of the project; d) The direct participation of 8 beneficiary families (32 people) of target communities in demonstration of the use of energy efficient technologies, given to them by the project in last three month of the project e. Own labor and within 10% of the cost of energy services financial participation of at least one able-bodied member of each beneficiary family in the repair and installation works envisaged by the project. f. free participation of at least two young members from each of the target communities (for the three target communities, at least six young members) in the repair and installation work provided by the project for the appropriate eco - club and the family of the beneficiary; g. gratuitous participation of two or three trained young members from each of the target communities (total, 6 or 9 young members) in providing information and advisory services to other interested members of the community, as well as in monitoring of works in families beneficiaries.
