Sustainable home garden improvements using alternative irrigation methods and rainwater harvesting
This project is aimed at helping the women of the Palisadeweg in adapting to climate change in terms of maintaining a home garden. Rainwater capture will be promoted in order to overcome dry periods, and effective and efficient agricultural techniques will be taught to these women.
The planting of trees in the gardens will also be promoted, creating shade and preventing erosion.
