Project Characteristics and Results
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
20 women from the community directly involved in handicraft making and 50 other families benefitted from engage in supplying bamboo for the construction industry and for handicraft.
Capacity - Building Component
30-35 members are trained on bamboo handicraft making 12 well trained members are registered in National Handicraft Centre as trainers. NGO staff is trained on project management, M&E, office management, EIA mechanism, local and global environmental issues and related conventions, business plan developments etc.
