Likjeron Garden Project to Demonstrate Organic Farming for Improvement of Sustainable Livelihood
The proposed project will increase the community?s awareness organic farming in addition to providing a garden that produces native seedlings for costal/shoreline replantations.
The project will include intensive educational workshops covering topics such as the benefits of biodiversity, agricultural techniques and procedures , organic gardening, botanical information, composting, recycling and re-use of non-biodegradable packaging and containers, as well as food preparation integrating the non-indigenous vegetation that will be grown.
