A green steppe herder group advocating green development, Bayankhutag, herder groups, namely ?Green steppe? herders group and ?Khuikh? herder group agreed to act as equal partner implementers under this project. ?Green steppe? herder group intends to grow perennial plants in order to restore the pastures and slow desertification. The other herder group will put a foundation to further combat desertification and sand movement in the area and achieve a lot in blocking sand shifts and supporting livelihoods of the community by planting a strip of trees and protect straw reserves in the area called Dovnii Buuts, located 13 km east of Bor-Undur soum.
