To implement Climate Change adaptation and mitigation activities aimed at securing the livelihood of the local population through aforestation in the Forest Reserve buffer zone to enhance CO2 absorption and safeguard the watershed role Rwoho Forest Reserve plays in ensuring the continued existence of River Mishumba and River Kagera; promoting use of alternative renewable energy like solar; and supporting non-extractive forest-based income generating activities like beekeeping for honey production.
