Project goal: Establishment of "green reinvestment" mechanism in the Republic of Belarus, on the example of reserves of Brest region, and mitigating the adverse effects of climate change through the production and sale of green electricity to the grid.

Project tasks:
1. Construction of 100 kW photovoltaic power plant and generation of clean energy, with further sale to the grid.
2. Creating a training center on biological resources and alternative energy.
3. Dissemination of project results with the purpose of replication in other regions of the Republic Belarus.

Over the project implementation course it is planned to:
?Prepare the site for creating 100 kW photovoltaic power plant;
?Purchase and installation of the necessary equipment;
?Elaboration and conclusion the contract with electricity-providing company for the purchase of generated energy;
?Creation, equipment and training of personnel for training center on biological resources and alternative energy;
?Develop and launch of educational programme for reserves? staff, districts? and regional authorities reps, CSOs reps and students from educational institutions;
?Conduct 6 training seminars on renewable energy usage for CSOs reps, personnel of environmental organizations and representatives of the executive bodies from other regions of Belarus;
?Conduct press-tour for regional and national media reps ensuring wide coverage of project results
?Conduct environmental-economic evaluation of 12 months station work results;
?Dissemination of experience - carrying out national workshop for CSOs and environmental institutions with presentation of at least two proposals (potential sites) for Ministry of Environment consideration for the replication of the project results.
