Enhancing energy efficiency at Ulla Agricultural Lyceum I dormitory building, Beshenkovichy district Vitebsk region
Project goal ? The main objective of the project is to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases by saving heat in the Lyceum dormitory
Achieving the stated goal require addressing following tasks:
1. Replace window units in the Lyceum dormitory for energy-saving glazed widnows
2. Reconstruct Heat points, set thermo regulators, replaced heat exchangers by more efficient
3. To carry on informational campaign
Expected results
1. Window blocks of dormitory are replaced. As a result, every year 133m3 of wood will be saved.
2. Reconstruction of heat substations with the installation of thermoregulators, replacement heat exchangers will allow to save 117m3 fuel additionally.
Cumulative annual effect from the project implementation is expected at saving lavel of 250m3 of wood, which is equivalent of 10.8 tons greenhouse gas emissions (CO2 equivalent). In addition, wood savings will improve the ecological situation in the region and preserve forests.
3. Reduction of the expenses for heat supply will allow to direct saved funds to other pressing needs, to improve the living conditions of children and students with special developmental needs, without additional costs for the electricity to comply with thermal conditions in the living rooms.
