Vulnerability reduction and increasing understanding on water management at Snom Kapei and Maharosey communes through rehabilitation of Ang Rea community pond aims at 1-increasing the water using for 411 families, 2,157 people, and 1,100 females in 4 villages in Snom Karpei and Maharosey communes and 2- Increasing using of clean water for 80 families.
Objectives:
1. Increase accessibility for daily use of water for 411 families, 2,157 people (1,100 females) by rehabilitating community pond at 4 villages of Snom Krapei and Maharosey communes, Korng Pisey district, Kampong Speu province.
2. Improving clean water use for 80 families by proving ceramic water filter at 4 villages of Snom Krapei and Maharosey communes, Korng Pisey district, Kampong Speu province.
Outputs:
1. Ang Rea community pond was rehabilitated for 89m x 77m x 3m, one pipe, 2 steps, and sign board.
2. One road was rehabilitated for 545m long to Trapaing Dar village, 695 people and 357 females are using.
3. 11 Management members for community pond were selected and at least 45% are women.
4. Capacity building to community members of community pond at Ang Rea on water management and repair.
5. 11 people of Saving Management committee were selected to be committee members whom at least 45% are women will participated.
6. Select 80 families to get water filter as loan without interest in 4 villages.
Main Project activities:
1. Rehabilitates Ang Rea community pond with 89m x 77m x3m
2. Establish procurement committee and Open bidding to rehabilitate Ang Rea community pond.

4. Plant trees around the pond
5. Rehabilitates road for 545 m long
