Project aims to use the degraded lands to grow seedlings of wild-fruit trees and shrubs for further soil erosion control on slopes of Zhetyssu Alatau.
Seedling nursery will be developed with use of water-saving technology of drip irrigation. It?s planned to use some of the seedlings to plant on eroded slopes of Zhetyssu Alatau involving local community. Educational trainings on erosion control will be held.
