GOAL
Protection of livelihoods in the Gulf Gane - North Maluku rescue through community-based mangrove forest ecosystem and local wisdom.

OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Increasing public knowledge about the importance of preservation of coastal ecosystems for sustainability of human life.
Indicators : 1. 300 women from the Gane village that have knowledge and understanding of the importance of coastal ecosystems for sustainability, as well as engage in mangrove planting.
2. Building 3 local substance of environmental education for elementary school kids, junior high, high school 3 times a training cadre of environmental
3. The existence of the home village of the island as a center of learning information
4. There were 20,000 (twenty thousand) mangrove seedlings and the seedlings planted in the location of critical land in the Gulf Gane
Activities : 1. Cadre training environment for women in the program location.
2. Conducting environmental education for elementary school kids, middle and high school programs at the site. These activities will be implemented in schools, taking once a month schedule, which will be implemented from the third month running program.
3. Breeding and mangrove reforestation.
4. For seedlings planted seedlings that had been prepared, will be the media practice for students in environmental education, as long as the program runs
Objective 2 : Conducting the increasing economic income, and conserving coastal ecosystem to support economic governance model based community
Indicators : 1. Formation of one group in Gane community as a scoop of increasing economy community and conserving coastal ecosystem
2. Existing 20 woman that improve natural potential as craft, local food, chips and local food from mangrove, salty fish as productivity room as a economic creative
3. Existing one community cooperation that build through discussion where support gender equality
4. There are 10 people that gets application in renewable energy stove
Activities : 1. Conducting facilitation and organization that purpose to make Gane community
2. Training of community organizer
3. Training finance management and credit union development
4. Training and making renewable energy stove
5. Conducting the community meeting and discussion regularly.
Objective 3 : Build the commitment of governance model for conserving coastal ecosystem community based in village
Indicators : 1. There are one Village regulation for protecting coastal ecosystem with 5 times discussion
2. Existing 5 information board in Protecting coastal ecosystem area
Activities : 1. 5 times Discussion on Village Regulation regarding the protection of coastal ecosystems which will be implemented as much as 5 times in the village which was attended by representatives Gane community including women
2. Preparation of Village regulation draft
3. Discussion and Ratification of the Village Government and attended by at least 15 people, including women, 5 and 5 representatives of academia campus network
EXPECTED OUTPUTS
1. There is active participation of local communities in the rescue and protection of coastal ecosystems, especially mangrove forests in the Gulf Gane
2. Formation of people's organizations, who understand the function and responsibility of strengthening the work of the people's economy and environmental protection.
3. Increased local economic revenue through business development alternative that is built with the mechanism of the credit union system.
4. Reduced dependency system for citizens against the middlemen who take advantage of the sweat and the work of the citizens..
