GOAL
Managing the area saved the people and the environment through the development of community-based model of governance and local wisdom in Banusrama
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Collecting and implement governance models of community-based natural resources and environment at the national level Banusrama
Indicators : 1. The existing 40 people that have skill on developing community innovation in Banusrama
2. There will be 8 product that produced from 4 Banusrama Area
3. Community Meeting as sharing forum and documenting the activity updated
4. Green Credit Union that used for promoting the local community product
Activities : 1. Innovation development training people and developing a superior product in every region Banusrama
2. Exchange of experience, knowledge, and expertise among the beneficiary communities for 4 times.
3. Revitalization Cooperative Green WALHI.
4., And learning. Banusrama meeting was conducted as a forum for knowledge exchange and learning between community and environmental activists in environmental conservation efforts and economic development of the people.
Objective 2 : Documentation and promoting the nature resources governance model and environment based on public and government
Indicators : 1. There are audio-visual documentation of the people in the governance model of 4 regions loaded Banusrama with 4 films
2. Banusrama He made a book about titled "17,000 Voices"
3. Operation Small Nusantara Festival.
Activities : 1. Making 4 short film community governance models in 4 areas.
2. Preparation of a book with the model of governance and superior products that are found during the process titled "17,000 Voices".
3. Convening one small archipelago Festival in Banusrama involving communities and other stakeholders.
Objective 3 : Encourage the recognition policy governance model of community-based natural resources and environment and local wisdom
Indicators : Conducted Training Analysis for community in 4 area Banusrama
Activities : 1. Training Analysis for community in 4 area Banusrama
EXPECTED OUTPUTS
1. The existence and organizational capacity building WALHI to encourage innovation efforts of the people in the management of natural resources and environment
2. Strengthening discourse on the importance of the protection of the people management area with a community-based model of governance in the public arena and kabijakan makers, both at regional and national
3. Governance models There are people who are recognized by the state so it can be protected environmental sustainability.
Participants and/or Project Beneficiaries
Direct : Bali : Babahan Village that consist 4 traditional village, 6 traditional banjar, nd 6 banjar service. The population of as many as 3,250 residents Babahan village, with 1,605 men and 1,645 women.
NTB : The population of the village of Aik Berik in 2002 was 6,197 people, made up of a total population of 2,855 souls of men and women population of 3,342 inhabitants.
NTT : Based on the results of civil registration in 2007 the population of South Central Timor amounted to 425 895 inhabitants, while in 2006 the number of population of 420 798 people which means the population increase of 5,097 people (1.2%). When compared with the average population growth of 1990 s / d 2000 is 1.12%, the population growth rate in 2007 increased.
Population growth in South Central Timor is likely to increase from year to year. The number of villagers Linamnutu, 2,628 souls, women (1,408 inhabitants), Male (1,220) total households (700).
North Maluku : The number of members of the public at each work location 1,146 people, consisting of 629 women and 517 men.
Indirect : Mass media: the media will indirectly involved in this program as well as covering the festival participants directly on site; Academics: academics will be involved directly in the program through the activities of the Festival; Local Government: will be involved directly in the program through festival activities and policy dialogues; Regional Parliament: will be involved directly in the program through festival activities and policy dialogues; General public: be involved directly in the program through the activities of the Festival

Policy Influence
1. WALHI be able to involve local governments to support the protection and expansion of community management area other than as a way of ensuring protection of the rights of communities in the management of natural resources (region its management) is also being encouraged as part of a community initiative in the context of adaptation to climate change.
2. Strengthened support is one of them through social forestry scheme that has been declared by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, through the release of 12.7 million hectares.
