GOAL
Building the capacity and the farming institution in Semau Island that have vision and conducting the innovation of natural resources
OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : The Increasing of farming knowledge about the impact of using the non organic for the land, water and health quality.
Indikator : 1. The existing one article and photo that support trading andnon organic chemistry material that used in 5 villages.
2. Existing one model of traning ?Learning together with farmer and non organic farming? and Planning the follow up as the result of the workshop
3. Planting the 10,000 ?nyamplung? trees and ?lontar? trees in the coastal forest area that damage around 1 hektare
4. Exsiting one regulation or the agreement about management of biodiversity in each village
Activities : 1. The Assessment about the trading merk and non organic material chemistry that using in vegetable farmer in 5 village
2. The Socialization workshop about long impact in non organic farming that would follow by 30 farmers ( 30% are women)
3. Conducting the assessment in coastal forest area location
4. Conducting the meeting of community to preparing the regulation or agreement to managing og forest
5. Conducting the community meeting to socializing the regulation or regulation that had prepared
Objective 2 : Finding the local potential to developing the natural farming based on Community in Semau Island
Indicators : 1. Composting one material in books, photo, and movie about the local potency include fertilization and organic pesticide, local corps, and local knowledge that support the biodiversity
2. Build the one collaboration team in Geng Motor IMUT, Farmer and other Institution, Government and non government in development of Natural farming such as developing the forbidden forest (Marga Forest)
Activities : 1. Conducting the study of local potency
2. Conducting the 5 times the focus group discussing in the 5
3. The Result of Identification local potencial workshop and socialization that would following by 30 people in 5 villages

Objective 3 : Increasing the capacity and development the institution of Natural Farming in Semau Island
Indicators : 1. Existing the one of regulation about development Institution of natural farming in island scale that consist the vision of each villages
2. Existing the five village as development of organic fertilization that managing of community
3. Forming the five villages as managing of natural farming in agreement in each villages
Activities : Increasing the consumer of organic farming and local corps with techniques that support natural farming in Semau Island.
Objective 4 : Finding the local potency for development of natural farming based on community in Semau Island
Indicators : 1. Existing the five sample of garden and demonstration for community in 5 villages in around 5 hectare natural farming that used the techniques of the innovation of natural farming
2. Composing the minimum of 5 pieces model the innovation of natural resources in 5 village
3. Composing the publication of the result documentation in the website and social media about the innovation of nature farming in Semau Island.
4. Creating the marketing line as result the local innovation
Activities : 1. Developing the sample garden as learning in around 1 hektare in each of villages
2. Planting the local food crops such as sorgum (1000 pieces), nuts (1000 pieces), red bean (1000 pieces), the local corn (1000 pieces), cucurbit (100 pieces), Marungga (250 pieces), marungga ( 250 pieces), Rice Crops (7 kilograms), Chili (1000 pieces), papaya (250 pieces), watermelon (100 pieces) an the vegetables with intercropping metode
3. Supporting the existing of material for making the organic fertilization
4. Supporting for the existing the material for farming techniques in innovation of natural farming
5. Conducting the facilitation for empowerment the institution and development of the innovation natural farming
6. Conducting one person for facilitator in each village
7. Development in 2 local innovation ineach village that gets in development of model of innovation natural farming in Semau Island that consist of market that developed by community
8. Supporting the extention and fastener local innovation with conducting the training of development product in one time in every village.
9. Writing and publishing the result of learning from each village for the public through website and social media minimum once a month.
10. Conducting one time the training of creation of business plan to marketing need and development of market and development of community entrepreneurship in every village.
Objective 5 : Developing the mechanism of knowledge sharing in each
Indicators : 1. Publishing the news paper that developed by community as a knowledge sharing among community
2. Existing one modul about the participation monitoring that used by community to scoring themselves about the target of the innovation of Semau Island.
Activities : 1. Creating a knowledge management division
2. Conducting the writing workshop for the knowledge management division
3. Publishing minimum 5 the community newspaper that would distribute in every village (20 pcs/village)
4. GMI would contribute minimum 2 innovation story in each community
5. The meeting of sharing knowledge among village in 1 time in 1 period
6. Conducting the Discussion of the monitoring participation instrument
7. Conducting the community meeting for community for creating and conducting the participation monitoring.
EXPECTED OUTPUTS
1. This project would be using the intake of inorganic chemical-based agriculture for more than 20 years, Semau island?s farmers are already have the impact. This could be a turning point when there are having the opportunities do differently and profitable agriculture.
2. There are a variety of agricultural practices based on local potential natural harmony in the East that can be an example and lead Semau?s farmer willingness to change behavior , including practices in addition to environmentally friendly also provide economic benefits .
3. Vision is to be developed is a medium-term vision, a minimum of 10 years , which gives the main direction of movement can PSABM followed by farmers after the project period .
4. In this project, the groups will Semau Island PSABM advocated to be part of the Farmers Group Association (union). In addition to getting the ' formalities', could also disseminate the approach and knowledge through existing institutions.
5. Assistance in business plan will be developed for groups interested in developing organic agriculture production business intake. The work done will likely require input in the early stages of the project, but subsequent use standalone resource. Plans include a minimum of 5 years business venture with calculations that ensure businesses are economically profitable
