Project goals or objective (including GEF problem-area addressed by project) :
1. To develop local community's skills on management of their biodiversity.
2. To increase the economic welfare of community.
3. To identify and utilise preventative measures against pressures on the local vegetation as a result of deforestation practices by the local community.
4. Reducing the local community's dependendancy on the forest resources.
5. Successful conservation efforts of Gunung Halimun National Park.

1. Community participation, action and research.
2. Core Groups formations.
3. Problem identification.
4. Demplot making.
5. Training and education.
6. Monitoring and evaluation.
7. Data collection.
