Maasai Wilderness Trust is working with the Maasai communities to protect the biodiversity and landscapes of the Tsavo-Amboseli ecosystem through conservation efforts that directly benefit the local people. MWCT operates on Kuku Group Ranches (KGR, made of Kuku A and Kuku Group Ranches), over 113,000 hectares of communally owned Maasai land, bordering both Tsavo West and Chyulu National Parks.
MWCT aims to preserve wilderness, wildlife and cultural heritages across the Amboseli-Tsavo ecosystem by creating sustainable economic benefit for the maasai people.
