Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
Local community will be educated through capacity building programs about the importance of maintaining water quality of the streams. Education programs and workshops will be organized to educate the local community on "How to identify the fish and how it is important and its scarcity in the area".
Notable Community Participation
Local community will be encouraged to develop and manage community nurseries to grow indigenous river bank plant species. CBOs will be formed from the local community to manage and conserve the protected locations.
