Diversifying Livelihood Options through Weaving in Argenjona Kebele
The project aims to diversify livelihood options of Argenjona kebele women and youth through weaving and handicraft production to reduce community burden on natural resources of Semien Mountain National Park and contribute to biodiversity conservation through provision of training on weaving and handicraft production to 120 HHs to generate income for household subsistence; contributing to environmental protection and rehabilitation in the vicinity; increasing community understanding on environmental protection and rehabilitation and equipping more than 300 households with the required knowledge and skill to protect their environment.
