The project aims to avoid the existing deforestation rate and sequester and conserve carbon dioxide emitted through restoration of 320 hectares of degraded forest and range lands; generate income for the local farmers through promoting agro forestry practice; and promote local community development intervention through capacity building training and demonstration of best practice.
