BANDERA LAND MANAGEMENT INITIATIVES
BANDERA Land Management Initiatives project aims to scale up in-field sustainable land management (SLM) practices addressing soil degradation as well as halt the increasing vulnerability of agricultural landscapes to climate change in Kamuli district through training of farmer leaders and school-based personnel; providing direct support to farmer groups with livelihood interventions in SLM to increase food and income security; and promoting climate change adaptation technologies through agro-forestry, energy efficient stoves and bee keeping.
