RUGADA Promoting Access to Carbon Credits is a project which aims to mitigate against climate change caused by the combustion of unsustainably harvested biomass by creating awareness on energy efficient technologies in the communities, promoting and disseminate energy saving biomass technologies of the six brick rocket stove, training women and youth groups in production, repair and sale of efficient energy saving stoves, and promoting the stoves as a component project activity under Improved Cook Stoves for East Africa (ICSEA) for carbon credits
