- The project was carried out in the Cabeço community and began to involve some people from the Tubibau community.
- 20 people were trained in the courses "Community development and participatory management" and "Native bee management techniques".
- 10 people were trained in the course of joinery, which resulted in the making of 200 boxes of bees.
- A total of 19 people are directly involved in the project, of whom 9 are women and 5 are young people.
- A seminar was held in the municipality with the participation of representatives of the government, other entities, and beneficiaries of the project.
- A Community Development and Participatory Management Plan was prepared, which was sent as an annex in the Final Report.
- The area of ??activity of the project (caatingueiro melliferous garden) totals 0,802 hectares.
- The project promoted an exchange for 18 meliponicultores, who visited the facilities of UFERSA, where they attended a lecture given by a specialist in native bees. They also had the opportunity to participate in the Semear Project Knowledge Fair and to visit the meliponicultor Suã, which showed their management practices of native bees.
- Support was obtained for a project with the State Government, which is building a honey processing unit, a communal kitchen, an auditorium and purchasing equipment.
- In partnership with the municipality of Jandaíra, the creation of the Jandaíra Honey Route, as the first honey pole of native bees in Brazil, was lodged with the Ministry of National Integration.
- JOCA actively contributed in this period to the creation of the Slow Food Fortress of Honey of Jandaíra Bee. The partnership with the Slow Food movement is strong and growing.
- Communication materials were made: folder, banners and the Manual for the diffusion of the technology of the Caatingueiros Melíferos Gardens.
