The project aims to enhance community bee keeping in Niani District as an integral part of the overall sustainable conservation and management of forest resources and natural habitats. The project?s specific objectives are to
? Conserve genetic forest of native bee (APIs melifera) through prevention and promotion of environmentally friendly bee farming.
? Promote the adoption of modern apiculture techniques of bee keeping that will ensure bush fire prevention.
? Develop marketing and assistance network among these associations
