Terrestrial Restoration and Protection Campaign for Babeldaob
The proposed project is seeking funding support to build further capacity of the community land users, fund reforesting and erosion control activities in Ngarchelong, and extend campaign activities into other areas of Palau in particular Melekeok State where similar environmental threats exist. The lessons learned from the early onset of the program will be used to further develop training materials for other communities in Palau and to design a Melekeok specific social marketing campaign as our first campaign expansion.
