SKNAYF5: Teaching Protective Agricultural Production in secondary schools across St. Kitts and Nevis as a method of combating climate change
In an attempt to further promote agriculture and the other life sciences within the schools and to assist communities in dealing with the effects of climate change, prolonged drought, increased temperatures, leading to more difficulty in the production of food, and to encourage the youth in viable enterprises, the SKNAYF felt that the schools would be a good place to start the teaching/learning process. The green houses will be used to provide seedlings to the many school gardens and farmers within the particular community. These houses will also be used as agricultural, educational and experimental research facilities in crop production and science for the communities
