The Project Management Committee was set up.
2. In cooperation with the specialists of the National Academy of Sciences of the KYRGYZ Republic 2 mini-demonstration greenhouses for growing of the sea buckthorn bushes and other herbs was created.
3. One mini-greenhouse was equipped with solar vacuum collector, which is used for heating .
4. One mini-greenhouse was equipped bymist-making humidifiers, used as irrigation system.
5. A demonstration zone of the drip irrigation is was created for growing of the sea buckthorn bushes and fruit trees.
5. One demonstration greenhouse (size 43 x 11 m) with passive solar heating for growing of the thornless forms of the sea buckthorn and some vegetables was built.
7. Diversity of herbs was planted at the area of 3.5 hectare for further havesting and sale.
9. One solar water heating collector was installed at the demonstration learning area ? a classroom of the Regional center for green building and permaculture in Grigorievka village.
10. Broschure on growing and protection of herbs in lssyk-Kul oblast was published.
11. A workshop on use of renewable energy sources, drip.irrigation and permaculture was organized for the personnel of the "lntuition" NGO and the villagers of Grigorievka.
12. A workshop to set up a demo zone with herbs was organized in the local school.
13. On the basis of the Museum in Balykchy city an exhibition about medicinal plants of lssyk-Kul oblast was created.
14. 2 project stands were installed in the Grigorievka village.
15. The results of the project was highlighted in mass media (an article was published, several video interviews were prepared, and information was distributed via electronic mass-media).
