The project communication strategy included the whole complex of actions, aimed to raise public awarness about snow leopard conservation ( press-conferences, publications in mass-media, trainings, lessons in schools, flesh-mob, etc.)

Capacity - Building Component
the group of experts, who can start work of the working0level secretariat on protection of the snow leopard, is needed. It includes qualified manager, expert on fundraising, specialist on communications, specialists on biodiversity, and expert on loigistics (fpr 2-3 month only).
Project Results
1. The Project Management Committee is established, which includes representatives of the Public Foundation ?Zhashyl Bilik", representatives of UNDP, and State Agency and others.
2. Competition was held and the necessary personnel were attracted to work in the information and resource center.
3. Youth conference on the protection of endangered species of Issyk-Kul region was held.
4. The flashmob devoted to protection of a snow leopard and other Red Book animals was held in Bishkek city.
5. The information and resource center for protection of Red Book animals of Issyk Kul and Kyrgyz Republic was created, and necessary equipment was purchased (office equipment, literature, manuals, etc.).
6. Package of proposals to raise funds for the protection of endangered species of mammals of Issyk-Kul were prepared, and their presentation to the donor community was organized.
7. Website of the secretariat on preservation of a snow leopard was updated.
8. Lobbying of the decision about the celebration of the Snow Leopard Day in October was realised.
9. The analysis of the international experience was carried out and CD with materials by the international experience of protection of rare and disappearing mammals was published.
10. The educational module on protection of Red Book animal species of Issyk Kul for the purpose of further introduction in educational courses of the highest educational institutions is developed.
