Better land productivity through improved water management, agricultural practices and resource generation for sustainable land & livelihood practices
Project Objectives:
1. To upgrade land, vegetation, fodder, trees and other ecological ingredients.
2. To ascertain food security through development of irrigation structures to promote agriculture and to raise the economic status of the poor villagers.
Project Activities:
1. One irrigation check dam will be dug.
2. Two Bandhs (Ponds) will be renovated.
Project Outcomes:
1. At least 540 acres of land will get assured irrigation and additionally over 300 acres of land will develop for vegetation growth.
2. At least 242 poor families having a total population of over 1428 will be able to do their agricultural activities.
3. More number of crops will be grown and the quantity of the crops grown will increase.
4. Economic status of the beneficiary families will increase and thereby living status will be increased.
5. Plants, trees and fodder will develop in the area.
6. Environment will be enriched and upgraded.
