A ?Nogoon Davalgaa? (Green wave) Center will be established in Mandal soum of Selenge province to promote the Satoyama Initiative. The rationale behind the establishment of the Centre is to develop the rural area with the local community participation, in particular to develop a system for joint decision making, planning and monitoring by local authorities and residents. The Centre will introduce the practice of holding meetings and discussions involving local authorities and residents, and CBOs, as well as capacity building trainings and meetings where joint decisions will be made.
